At almost 130 years old it has served our community well.
It has been used for thousands of events from play schools to retirement groups, Aerobics to Zumba, Christening parties to celebratory wakes, and played an important role for our armed forces returning from the two World Wars.
It had a moment of fame in Mackenzie Crook's hit BBC series Detectorists when it became a scout hut and the location for Danebury Metal Detecting Club meetings.

Despite substantial efforts to keep the hall up and running it has now reached the end of its useful life and is beyond economic repair.
